Trying to define one hundred million plus taxpayers is a rather dubious task, as each individual is a unique and wonderful human being. However when each of these unique individuals is a part of the definition of America, then that definition can reach a common understanding, and that is what is being called TEAM AMERICA.
If you wanted to become a member of someone’s household and because of that desire you were invited to become a member - would you not be expected to totally respect what that household stood for in terms of it’s principals and who it was?
It is much the same with our Country. It’s principals, it’s identity, it’s history, its freedom and it’s direction. That is what TEAM AMERICA represents.
For over two hundred years, through trials and tribulations our Country has emerged as a role model to all other nations. Millions of men and women have embraced the concept of RESPONSIBLE FREEDOM, we have engaged in wars to maintain those principals that we embrace and that defines us as The United States of America.
It is for these reasons that we, TEAM AMERICA, say to all who are citizens of this Country and to all who would like to become citizens of our Country:
We are an English speaking nation which means there can be only one official language - to embrace more than one official language of this nation would be to cause us to be ‘divided and conquered’. This does not mean that we do not recognize and encourage other languages to be spoken - that is what America is about. However, it is imperative that the English language is learned, spoken and written by all who are citizens of this Country.
We are largely Christians and believe in God and that is our history. Our Country was founded on the foundation that says “In God We Trust”. If we choose to display that belief on the walls of our government buildings and in the class rooms of our public tax supported schools, we will do so. If you choose to not believe in God or if God offends you, than in America, you have that choice and we will not question you.
However, you must understand that if you can’t live in harmony with our beliefs, if you aggressively try to tear down that which represents who we are, you are strongly invited to leave and find some other part of the world where you will be happier.
Nobody has ever been forced to live in America but all who live in America have a responsibility to the Freedom we so cherish. So accept the principals of this Country or exercise your (American given) freedom of choice and please leave, nobody should be unhappy because they live in America.
